Designer Location: Catania (with the possibility of remote work)
What You'll Do:
• Design with Purpose: Craft user-centric designs that align with user needs, business goals, and brand identity.
• Participate in Research: Contribute to research activities to inform design decisions and enhance user experience.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to effectively visualize and communicate design concepts.
• Responsive Excellence: Ensure your designs are adaptable across various devices and screen sizes, providing a seamless user experience.
• Explore Swiss Design Principles: Apply Swiss design principles to your work, influenced by our prestigious client base, to create timeless and effective design solutions.
• Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to implement design solutions and bring innovative ideas to life.
• User Insights: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs based on feedback.
• Maintain Standards: Create and uphold design guidelines and documentation to ensure consistency and support team collaboration.
• Stay Ahead: Keep up with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to enhance design quality and innovation.
• Iterative Improvement: Embrace an iterative approach, refining designs based on feedback and data to foster continuous improvement.
• Problem-Solving: Address design challenges with creative solutions and propose enhancements.
• Present with Impact: Articulate design concepts and rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Your Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio of past design work.
• Skills: Proficiency in Figma is essential; experience with additional design tools is a plus.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive/mobile-first design.
• Language: Good proficiency in English, both written and spoken (at least B1/B2 level), as communication within the company is conducted primarily in English.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Project Management: Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, make precise estimations, and adhere to deadlines.
• Mentorship: Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback, mentor junior designers, and continuously seek personal and professional growth.
Plus Points:
• Animation Skills: Experience with Framer or similar frameworks/software for creating animations.
• Coding Skills: Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS/SASS.
• Background: Knowledge in programming, research, psychology, or interaction design.
• Research Experience: Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies.
