What You Will Do

As a Blockchain and Django Developer at HexErgy, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining the core functionalities of our platform. You will be responsible for researching, choosing, and experimenting with blockchain technologies to determine the best fit for our platform’s needs, as well as integrating and maintaining blockchain components. Additionally, you will manage and maintain our existing Django-based application, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance. Your responsibilities will include:

Researching and experimenting with blockchain technologies to determine the best solution for our platform.

Developing and maintaining the blockchain infrastructure to support energy communities.

Enhancing and maintaining our Django application, ensuring seamless integration with blockchain components.

Working closely with the frontend team to ensure smooth integration of backend services.

Managing server-side logic and ensuring responsiveness and performance for front-end requests.

Maintaining and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure.

Who You Are

We are seeking a talented and motivated developer with expertise in both blockchain technology and Django application development. You should be passionate about creating scalable, maintainable solutions and have the flexibility to experiment with emerging technologies. Your role will require both technical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Your Profile
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, etc.).
• Familiarity with Solidity, smart contract development, and other blockchain development frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with its ecosystem.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
• Understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to Have
• At least 3 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Django.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with agile development methodologies and working in agile environments.
